Join us for a service, and you'll find a supportive family devoted to God's Word and to each other. An essential part of our church family life is the worship service. The Bible teaches that the church serves as the temple of God corporately (1 Cor. 3:16). In the “conversation” of our worship service, we speak to God in prayer and song, then hear from God in the reading and preaching of His Word. Our worship highlights congregational singing, using traditional and modern hymns that are reverent and passionate, easy to remember and yet deep in meaning.
Before the service: With bulletin in hand, you can preview the songs and Scriptures, as well as glance at announcements and upcoming events. You’ll also get a chance to connect with those around you and receive a free gift (if a first time visitor).
Opening Meditation: To prepare our hearts for worship, we open our service by reflecting on a Scripture passage that highlights a key gospel theme.
Worship: Our worship includes congregational singing, frequent testimonies of God's saving grace, and giving to the Lord from our financial resources.
Children’s classes with qualified, screened workers are available for every service.
Hearing and Responding to the Word of God: During this time we focus our attention entirely on God’s Word. The Lord speaks to us today through the Bible, and believers are built up through the ministry of the Word. After the Word is preached, believers are given an opportunity to respond to the Word. Personal counselors are available at this time as well.
The preaching at Grace is:
We believe that the Bible is best understood and obeyed when we walk carefully verse by verse through a book. In preaching, this approach is called expository preaching; it allows us to understand the main themes of a book and the context for each verse. This gives the most understanding and the greatest impact.
Because we prioritize a safe, warm experience for our children, every children's worker goes through a screening and training process.
